Beldam Crossley Ltd was formed in 1988 by the merger of The Beldam Packing and Rubber Company and Henry Crossley (Packings) Ltd.
Today their products and services are better than ever. They are market leaders in the field of seals, packings, gaskets, jointings, rubber, PTFE components and industrial hose.
The company was formed in 1988 by the merger of 2 long established UK sealing companies. The first was Beldam Packing and Rubber Co Ltd formed in 1876. They specialised in packings, jointings and gaskets for the marine industry. The second was Henry Crossley (Packings) Ltd formed in 1917. They specialised in packings and PTFE components for general industry.
Today they service customers with product from their main manufacturing site in Bolton and from their second site in Huddersfield. Worldwide they have an active and competent distributor in every industrialised country.
Each Beldam Crossley operation is accredited to a BS EN ISO9000 quality standard and their culture is one of continuous improvement. They are also highly committed to the environment and in respect to this the Bolton site is also accredited to BS EN ISO 14001.
Unlike some of their competitors, they strongly believe that their products and services should be available locally and rapidly. They hold stock of finished product at each of our 2 UK branches and this is supported by their central warehouse in Bolton.
